We have an opportunity for a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member and Driver to join our maintenance shrub team in our Bradenton, FL office. This role is positioned to have a significant impact on our growing business both organically and through acquisitions. The role involves installing irrigation systems for clients and reporting to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and/or region.

The position is based in Bradenton, FL at the local branch office.

Job Summary

As a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member and Driver, you will maintain the health and appearance of shrubs, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching, while assisting with other landscaping tasks under supervision. A key responsibility is driving to and from job sites with crew members using company vehicles. Candidates must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean record in the last three years and be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

1. Shrub Maintenance: Planting, trimming, weeding, mulching, watering, fertilizing, and deadheading shrubs.
2. General Landscaping Tasks: Mowing, edging, applying fertilizers and herbicides, debris removal, and equipment operation.
3. Driving Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and adhere to traffic laws.
4. Safety: Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
5. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean record within the last three years.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Experience in landscaping or related fields preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• Physical stamina and ability to lift, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
