Job summary

AO is seeking a talented Landscape Designer with entry-level design experience to join our Landscape Studio. You will develop design drawings and graphics for landscape architecture projects and translate concepts into clear project documentation.

Collaborate with senior staff to prepare site and landscape plans, elevations, and presentation materials while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. This role emphasizes growth, teamwork, and professional development within AO's design culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or related field required or preferred.
• 1–3 years of professional design experience preferred (entry-level acceptable).
• Proficiency with design and drafting software; ability to translate concepts into drawings and presentation materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings, site plans, landscape plans, elevations, and presentation graphics.
• Prepare schematic and detailed site plans and imagery for project documentation.
• Produce drawings and renderings communicating project intent to clients and contractors.
• Support preparation of construction documents and specifications; assist senior staff as needed.
• Communicate status and challenges to project teams to meet deadlines.
