Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Associate Landscape Designer to support landscape architecture projects with growing independence and professional judgment.

You will work with project and team leaders on concept development, plans, specifications, and cost analyses under general supervision. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of landscape architecture experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Degree in landscape architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of preliminary design concepts.
• Prepare cost analyses, drafting plans, and preliminary specifications.
• Maintain familiarity with LJA’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Work as a team member on unusual or complex problems.
• Collaborate with project and team leaders under general supervision.
• Share knowledge with technical and support staff.
