Job summary
Thomas Young Group is looking for a Landscape Design Assistant to support planning and landscape design projects from concept to finished plans. You will draft in AutoCAD, prepare visuals in Adobe Creative Suite, and assist with site planning while collaborating with senior designers.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of landscape architecture or design experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in landscape architecture or design; licensure not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask questions.
- Ability to manage several projects and priorities at once.
- Experience with SketchUp, LandFX, or Lumion is a plus.
