Understory seeks a curious, design-driven Landscape Architect to join our in-person team. You will contribute to research, concept studies, graphics, and renderings, extending to construction documentation, detailing, specifications, and construction administration.
The role also involves marketing materials and regional site visits with travel. The ideal candidate has a BLA/MLA in Landscape Architecture, strong AutoCAD, Rhino/Lumion, and Adobe CC skills, and excellent English communication.
Understory creates ecological landscape designs across a range of project types and scales. The ideal candidate possesses the desire, skills, judgment, creativity, and capability to carry out design and production on the full range of the practice’s work from research, concept studies, graphics, and renderings to construction documentation, detailing, specifications, and construction administration. The position will also entail contributing to non-project work that may include marketing, promotional materials, and site visits with travel within the region. Candidates should demonstrate the following:
Bachelors in Landscape Architecture (BLA) or graduate degree (MLA) from an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
