Job summary

The Grounds Guys of Northwest San Antonio is hiring dependable Landscape Crew Members with landscaping experience to join our growing team.

Pay starts at $16.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience, with weekly pay, year-round work, overtime opportunities, and access to professional equipment. You can grow into a Crew Leader position while working on sod, decorative rock, mulch, irrigation, and complete landscape renovations for residential and commercial properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional landscaping experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment such as zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws is preferred.
• Ability to legally operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• As a Landscape Crew Member, you will work as part of a team performing both landscape maintenance and installation services.
• Landscape Maintenance: Mow, edge, trim, and blow commercial and residential properties; prune shrubs, hedges, and ornamental trees; perform weed control and landscape bed maintenance; install mulch and seasonal flowers; remove debris and maintain clean, professional job sites; safely operate commercial landscaping equipment.
• Landscape Installation: Install trees, shrubs, flowers, ornamental grasses, and sod; install mulch, decorative rock, steel edging, and other landscape materials; assist with irrigation installation and repairs; build and renovate landscape beds; load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.

If you're looking for more than just mowing, you''ll enjoy working on a variety of landscape maintenance and installation projects, including sod, decorative rock, mulch, steel edging, irrigation, trees, shrubs, and complete landscape renovations for residential and commercial properties.

Typical Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Start time: 7:00 AM
• Occasional overtime available

Responsibilities

As a Landscape Crew Member, you will work as part of a team performing both landscape maintenance and installation services.

Landscape Maintenance

• Mow, edge, trim, and blow commercial and residential properties

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, and walking
• Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment
