Job summary

Village Green Landscapes in New Brighton, MN (with locations in Brooklyn Park and Savage) is hiring a Landscape Crew Member-Driver. This role supports landscape installs, loads materials, and provides excellent customer service on job sites.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of landscape installation experience, be 18+, pass a pre-employment drug test, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and have or obtain a DOT card.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• 1+ years of landscape installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to softscape install such as mulch, sod, and plant material installation.
• Assist other crew members in hardscape installation.
• Load and unload materials and equipment at job site.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work collaboratively with the team and company leadership.
• Demonstrate timely and effective communication—verbal, non-verbal, and written.
• Demonstrate high quality decision making in a fast paced environment.
• Assist with landscape build and install projects, including retaining walls, patios, bed prep, planting, and mulch.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and proficiently for landscape projects.
• Use various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 DOE

Benefits: Paid Sick Time

Possibility for year-round employment, if you are interested in commercial snow removal in the winter months.

Position Summary

This position serves as a key team member to ensure all landscape projects are completed in a manner that exceeds the customer expectation. Our Landscape Crew Member-Driver works in crews to complete landscape installs per job specifications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to perform tasks related to softscape install such as mulch, sod, and plant material installation
• Assists other crew members in hardscape installation
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment at job site
• Provides excellent customer service
