Maxalea, a Baltimore-based landscape company, is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to guide a crew across commercial properties. This hands-on leadership role requires hands-on landscape work, ability to train team members, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will direct daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule while maintaining clean, safe job sites and professional client communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape maintenance experience.
• Previous experience leading or directing a landscape crew.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment.
• Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT card or equipment certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance

Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Maxalea is hiring an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead a crew while working alongside the team maintaining commercial landscapes throughout the Baltimore area. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows landscape maintenance, can keep a crew productive, and takes pride in delivering quality work. You'll provide daily direction, train team members, operate equipment, communicate with clients and supervisors, and make sure each property is completed safely and to Maxalea standards. What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, organized, and able to keep a team on task

What to Expect

• Working outside in changing weather conditions
• Standing, walking, bending, and working on your feet throughout the day
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Working around landscape equipment, dust, pollen, and noise
• Starting early when needed
• Working occasional overtime or weekends based on workload
