The Grey Barn is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Member to join our commercial landscaping team in Northwest Arkansas. This full-time, on-site role is based in Springdale, AR, and requires at least five years of hands-on industry experience.

Responsibilities include maintenance and installation work, operating commercial equipment, and collaborating with crew members to deliver high-quality landscapes. Competitive hourly pay with PTO and reliable schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional landscaping experience required.
• Strong hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and/or installation.
• Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment and tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

• Mow, edge, trim, prune, and maintain landscaped areas
• Install plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, and sod
• Prepare and maintain landscape beds
• Complete property cleanups and seasonal landscaping work

• Assist with landscape enhancement and installation projects
• Identify common turf, plant, irrigation, and landscape issues
• Follow work orders, job plans, and supervisor instructions
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Maintain clean and safe jobsites
• Work efficiently with other crew members

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

The Grey Barn is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Member to join our commercial landscaping team in Northwest Arkansas.

This position is intended for landscaping professionals with at least 5 years of hands‑on industry experience. We are looking for someone who understands professional landscape maintenance and installation, can safely operate landscaping equipment, and takes pride in completing high-quality work.

This is not an entry-level position.

Additional experience in the following areas is preferred:

• Irrigation
• Plant and tree installation
• Sod installation
• Drainage and grading
• Hardscaping
• Skid steer or mini excavator operation

• Reading landscape plans

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, based on landscaping experience and demonstrated skills.

40 hours guaranteed per week.

Work is performed at commercial properties throughout Northwest Arkansas.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has made landscaping a profession and can demonstrate at least five years of direct, hands‑on experience.

We are looking for someone who understands how professional landscaping work should be completed, works safely and efficiently, takes care of equipment, and takes pride in the quality of the finished property.

Candidates without at least 5 years of professional landscaping experience will not be considered.
