Job summary

HeartLand, LLC is looking for a dependable Crew Leader to manage a 2–3 person crew on commercial landscape maintenance projects. This is a year‑round role with winter snow support, requiring leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to safety.

You will oversee daily tasks, operate landscape equipment, ensure quality, and report hours. Competitive hourly pay with overtime, plus health, dental, vision coverage, a 401K with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
• Prior crew lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2-3 team members on job sites.
• Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup tasks.
• Operate trucks, mowers, trimmers, and other landscape tools.
• Ensure job quality, safety compliance, and timely completion.
• Report crew hours, complete daily paperwork, and track materials.
• Train new crew members and support field onboarding.
• Assist with snow removal during winter season.
