Job summary

AQUALIS in Columbia, SC seeks a Landscape Crew Lead to guide field crews in stormwater and environmental maintenance. This hands-on leadership role directs onsite operations, mentors technicians, and drives safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading landscape maintenance or environmental construction field crews.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Mastery in maneuvering truck and trailer combinations, including backing, parking, and load securement.
• Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time with overnight stays.
• Ability to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.

• Conduct precise vehicle safety audits and compile comprehensive maintenance and inspection field reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience leading landscape maintenance, erosion control, or environmental construction field crews.
• Valid driver's license paired with a clean driving record that meets corporate vehicle insurance parameters.
• Mastery in maneuvering truck and trailer combinations, including complex backing, parking, and interstate load securement.
• Total willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time, including spending multiple consecutive nights away from home.
• Physical capacity to execute demanding outdoor field tasks and routinely lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 or more years of direct experience with commercial stormwater BMPs, sediment control, and vegetation management.
• Active First Aid and CPR certifications.
