Job summary

Sargent’s Gardens is seeking a Landscape Crew member to join a growing team that installs landscape projects under the direction of the Landscape Foreman. You will contribute to high-quality work safely, efficiently, and on budget, helping the crew grow and develop every day.

This seasonal, full-time role runs roughly April through November with potential snow work in the off-season; typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Landscape Crew

As a Landscape Crew member at Sargent’s, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the installation process of landscape projects. Landscape crew members work under the direction of the Landscape Foreman.

You Have:

• A love for working outdoors
• A love for being around and working with people, both teammates and customers alike
• A passion for quality of work from yourself and your teammates
• Ability to be flexible. Every day is a new adventure
• Desire to follow written or verbal direction to complete tasks effectively
• Ability to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs, and handle tools/equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to handle extended periods of activity and exposure to exterior elements
• A valid driver’s license and able to be insured on Sargent’s company insurance policy (preferred)
• A MN-DOT Health Card or ability to obtain
• An age of 18 or older (required for landscape department)

Benefits:

Pay range $17.50-$22.00

• Employee discount, which includes up to 30% off plant materials.

Schedule:

This position is a seasonal, full-time role, typically April – November with snow work available during off season.

Typical work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm, with occasional Saturday hours available. Hours may vary.
