Job summary

Seasonal Services is seeking a Landscape Construction Technician to support the Foreman on residential and public sites. The role covers hardscape and softscape installation, irrigation, and other components, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will participate in snow removal in winter, assist in training, and contribute to ongoing equipment maintenance while collaborating with a skilled team to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in landscape construction or related field.
  • Knowledge of landscape construction practices and ability to read and interpret plans.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality control standards.
  • Adapt to changing jobsite conditions and perform a variety of tasks.
  • Willingness to participate in snow removal operations during winter.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and varied weather conditions.
  • Ability to operate landscape construction tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Foreman in supervising job sites to ensure plans are executed efficiently and according to contract specifications.
  • Perform landscape construction tasks including installation of hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation systems, and other components.
  • Maintain high quality standards to meet design and contract requirements.
  • Promote and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness for a well‑organized work environment.
  • Communicate with the Project Manager regarding challenges, material and equipment needs, scheduling, and concerns.
  • Participate in snow removal services during winter months to keep sites safe.
  • Engage in ongoing training and equipment maintenance during slower seasons to support team development.
  • Work with team members on residential and public job sites, fostering teamwork and problem‑solving.
  • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are loaded and secured before leaving sites or facility.
  • Support the Foreman by overseeing safe conduct of other team members on site.
  • Operate landscape construction tools and machinery.
