Job summary

Seasonal Services seeks an Irrigation Technician to support the Foreman and ensure successful landscape projects across residential and public sites. You will gain hands-on experience in irrigation installation, landscape construction, and seasonal services such as snow removal.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
  • Knowledge of landscape construction practices and the ability to read and interpret plans.

  • Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and perform a variety of tasks.
  • Willingness to participate in snow removal operations during the winter season.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Foreman in supervising jobsite activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to contract specifications.
  • Perform landscape construction tasks, including the installation of hardscapes, softscapes, and irrigation systems.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all work meets design and contract requirements.
  • Promote and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness, ensuring a well-organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding project challenges, material and equipment needs, and scheduling.
  • Participate in snow removal services during the winter months to ensure client sites are safely maintained.
  • Engage in ongoing training and assist with equipment maintenance during slower seasons.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote effective teamwork and problem-solving on various job sites.
  • Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are properly loaded and secured before leaving job sites or the facility.
  • Support the Foreman by helping oversee the safe conduct of other technicians and laborers on the jobsite.
