Teufel Landscape is actively seeking a motivated Landscape Construction Technician II to join our growing construction team in the Kent area. This role is ideal for someone with landscape construction or related outdoor construction experience who is ready to expand their skills and take on greater responsibility in the field.

You will install commercial landscape projects, including irrigation systems, planting, grading, hardscape elements, and other site improvements, while developing

• Experience in landscape construction or related outdoor work.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and basic construction equipment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform planting, soil preparation, mulching, and landscape installation work.
• Assist with grading activities, material placement, and site preparation.
• Support irrigation installation, including trenching, pipe placement, and backfilling.
• Assist with hardscape construction, including base preparation and material staging.
• Safely operate hand tools and small equipment.
• Maintain quality standards while supporting daily production goals.
• Identify and communicate jobsite challenges, material needs, and quality concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work collaboratively with crew members, Leadpersons, Forepersons, and Superintendents.
• Continue developing landscape construction skills through training, coaching, and hands-on experience.
