Job summary

MTScapes, Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to lead field execution of major residential and community development projects from our Georgia office.

You will supervise subcontractors and MTScapes crews, develop schedules, manage safety, budgets, and quality, and coordinate with builders, inspectors, and suppliers on multiple sites. Regular travel between assigned jobsites is required as you oversee landscape installation, irrigation, hardscapes, and related

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in landscape construction or site development with field supervision experience.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and supervising field staff.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on active construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, details, scopes, and schedules.
• Knowledge of landscape installation, plant material, irrigation, hardscapes, drainage, grading, and lighting.
• Strong planning, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and budget-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to the Cumming, GA office and between sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee landscape-related construction work for neighborhoods and community developments.
• Coordinate subcontractors, MTScapes employees, builders, inspectors, suppliers, and other onsite trades.
• Build and maintain project schedules based on milestones, readiness, and contract requirements.
• Manage safety, manpower, productivity, and jobsite cleanliness; supervise staff and coordinate schedules.
• Track labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and production against the project budget.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to MTScapes quality standards.
• Review plans to identify conflicts or gaps before production impacts.
