Job summary

Unique Landscapes & Custom Pools is seeking an experienced field leader to organize crews, anticipate problems, and translate detailed plans into exceptional outdoor spaces. Our projects range from approximately $20,000 to $1 million—from landscape and hardscape improvements to complete custom backyards with pools, spas, outdoor kitchens, and structures.

You’ll have an assigned assistant, company truck, and support from our in‑house project managers and office team.

Qualifications

• Strong track record supervising landscape, hardscape, or custom residential construction.
• Read plans, verify field conditions, and identify conflicts before installation.
• Comfort communicating with homeowners and coordinating with an office-based team.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee crews and coordinate subcontractors with daily priorities.
• Work with project managers to coordinate schedules, materials, manpower, and upcoming activities.
• Read plans, verify field conditions, and identify conflicts before installation.
• Check workmanship, project progress, safety, and jobsite organization.
• Communicate directly with homeowners and keep the project team informed.
• Resolve field issues, document changes, and help control costs and rework.
• Drive punch-list completion and deliver a finished project to homeowners.

Unique Landscapes & Custom Pools is looking for an experienced field leader who knows how to organize crews, anticipate problems, and turn detailed plans into exceptional outdoor spaces.

Our projects range from approximately $20,000 to $1 million—from landscape and hardscape improvements to complete custom backyards with pools, spas, outdoor kitchens, and structures. Every project brings different details, challenges, and opportunities to show your craftsmanship.

You’ll have an assigned assistant, company truck and phone, and support from our in‑house project managers and office team.

The Role

This is a field-based leadership position with typical hours of 5:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with no regular weekend work.

You’ll oversee approximately 8–10 projects at different stages of construction across the Valley. We self‑perform a substantial portion of our work and subcontract other trades, so you’ll manage both company employees and subcontract crews.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead employee crews and coordinate subcontractors with clear daily priorities.
• Work with project managers to coordinate schedules, materials, manpower, and upcoming activities.
• Read plans, verify field conditions, and identify conflicts before installation.
• Check workmanship, project progress, safety, and jobsite organization.
• Communicate directly with homeowners and keep the project team informed.
• Resolve field issues, document changes, and help control unnecessary costs and rework.
• Drive punch-list completion and deliver a finished project you’re proud to walk with the homeowner.

What You Bring

• A strong track record supervising landscape, hardscape, or custom residential construction.
• Practical knowledge of installation methods, trade sequencing, and construction plans.
• Experience managing multiple jobs and holding employees and subcontractors accountable.
• Confidence communicating with homeowners and coordinating with an office-based team.
• Strong organization, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
• Comfort using a phone or tablet for schedules, photos, and project updates.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pool construction experience and Spanish language skills are valuable advantages. Your ability to lead landscape construction in the field is the priority.
