Qualifications

• Experience in landscape or general construction is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather.
• Physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds.
• Comfort with hand tools, power tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work safely in a fast-paced crew.

Responsibilities

• Grading and site preparation using hand tools and equipment.
• Installing irrigation systems and controllers.
• Assisting with hardscape construction including pavers and walls.
• Performing planting, soil preparation and landscape installation.
• Operating construction equipment and power tools safely.
• Reading layouts, checking elevations and supporting measurements.
• Maintaining quality standards for alignment and finished appearance.
• Organizing materials and tools to keep projects moving.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in landscape construction, general construction, excavation, irrigation, hardscape installation, or equipment operation who want to be part of a team that builds commercial landscapes from the ground up.

What You'll Do

As a Landscape Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside experienced construction crews on a variety of commercial landscape projects. Responsibilities include:

• Grading and site preparation using hand tools and equipment.
• Installing irrigation systems, including pipe, fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers.
• Assisting with hardscape construction, including pavers, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
• Performing planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation activities.
• Operating construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Reading layouts, checking elevations, and supporting site measurements.
• Maintaining quality standards for alignment, grading, compaction, and finished appearance.
• Organizing materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects moving efficiently.

  What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in landscape construction, general construction, excavation, concrete, paving, irrigation, or related trades preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds.
