Job Overview

Join Mariani Landscape today! As a Landscape Construction/Enhancements Crew Member, you'll play a crucial role in bringing outdoor visions to life. This physically demanding position involves transforming landscapes through expert planting, precise hardscape installation, and proficient operation of various tools and equipment. Success in this role requires exceptional physical stamina, unwavering reliability, and the ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions while working effectively in diverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing heavy lifting, digging, and moving materials.
• Working in diverse weather conditions.
• Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs
• Operating and maintaining landscape equipment (e.g., skid steers, tillers, mowers).
• Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
• Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area
  
  

Job Requirements

• Prior landscaping experience is a plus.
• Understanding of planting techniques and hardscaping principles
• Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes, etc.) and power tools (mowers, tillers, etc.) is often required.
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time
• The ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) is essential.
• Experience operating heavier equipment like skid steers is a plus.
