Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Landscape Construction Crew Lead/Driver to manage and execute landscape installation projects, including site prep, grading, drainage, planting, and installation of features. You will supervise daily crews, delegate tasks, and uphold safety standards while coordinating equipment use and material logistics.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of landscape construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and experience with heavy equipment such as a skid steer.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with driving record in good standing.
• Minimum of 2+ years working experience in landscape construction.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape construction.
• Knowledge/experience using heavy equipment such as Skid Steer.
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clears land and sets grade for landscape installation.
• Loads and unloads trucks by hand and hauls landscape components.
• Digs trenches and installs drainage components.
• Digs holes for plants/trees using hand tools and heavy equipment.
• Installs fencing and ornamental components; places boulders/stepping stones.
• Delegates tasks and oversees use of tools and equipment.
• Recruiting and training new crew members.
• Assesses progress and makes recommendations.
• Ensures crew safety and compliance with regulations.
• Prepares inventories and documents; provides cost/material/equipment/time estimates.
