Job summary

Landscape East & West is seeking a landscape construction crew member with 1.5+ years of landscaping or construction experience to join our team. You will work on diverse outdoor projects, following the landscape plan and collaborating with the Crew Leader and Project Manager.

Responsibilities include site prep, grading, drainage and irrigation installation, hardscape work with stone and pavers, plantings, lighting, and operating the truck and trailer.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand plan drawings.
• Operate machines such as Dingo, skid steer, excavator, trencher, cut-off saws, and other handheld equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience driving Isuzu or other large trucks & trailers.
• Communicate effectively with employees and onsite contacts.
• Plant identification is a plus.
• Ability to lift 90 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Able to navigate clients' property on uneven/rough terrain.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and take direction from the Crew Leader & Project Manager.
• Perform tasks such as demolition of existing landscape, site preparation and grading, drainage installation, irrigation installation, natural stone and concrete paver hardscapes (paths, walls, patios), planting, lighting, and other elements per the landscape plan.
• Operate truck & trailer.
