Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architecture student to join our Houston, TX office for an on-site internship. You will engage in site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production alongside project teams.

You will learn software like Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel, while gaining exposure to regulations and project workflows across residential, mixed-use, and public infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or in the process of earning a Landscape Architecture degree.
• Experience with design software is a plus.
• Ability to analyze, QC deliverables, and assist production.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and production.
• Support a range of projects: land planning, urban design, redevelopment, streetscapes, parks, and public infrastructure.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
• Learn and apply regulations and company standards in projects.
