Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architecture student to join our Fort Worth, TX office in 2027. This internship is not remote and will involve hands-on design work across site planning, urban and landscape design, and production using industry software.

You will learn and apply a range of software tools (Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel) while supporting project teams and client deliverables in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Landscape Architecture degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Familiarity with design software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production.
• Assist with land planning, urban design, redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, and parks.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
