Job summary

NorthPoint Development is offering an in-office Landscape Architecture Internship in Kansas City, MO for 8–10 weeks. You will work with engineers, planners, and surveyors on meaningful projects across NorthPoint’s industrial, data center, multifamily, and retail platforms.

You will conceptualize site plans, master plans, grading, and landscape design, while contributing to 3D visuals and project submittals for municipalities and contractors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in landscape architecture or related field.
• Interest in site and landscape design.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and surveyors in a fast-paced team environment.
• Gain experience working with licensed Landscape Architects and Professional Planners on development platforms.
• Conceptualize site plans, master plans, preliminary grading, and landscape design.
• Contribute to 3D visualizations and project presentations for various projects.
• Support submittal documents and communicate designs with municipalities and contractors.
• Be at the center of a team of developers, sharing recommendations to revitalize properties.
