Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Oklahoma City is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join our office. This on-site internship provides hands-on exposure to site planning, urban and landscape design, and the graphic and technical production needed for real client projects.

You will work with project managers across disciplines, develop familiarity with federal, state and local regulations, and begin learning software such as Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree (Bachelors or Masters).

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production.
• Assist with land planning, urban design and redevelopment, streetscapes, and public infrastructure design.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
• Learn and apply regulations and Kimley-Horn standards.

Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture students to join our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (OK) office! This is not a remote position.

Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture students to join our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (OK) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.


• Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.


• Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and other community facility design.


• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.


• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn and our client's practices, procedures, and standards.


• Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving a Landscape Architecture Degree (Bachelors or Masters)
