Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Cary, North Carolina is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join our team in the office. This is not a remote position and provides exposure to site planning, urban and landscape design, and production across a variety of projects.

Analysts will learn software such as Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel while gaining knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and our client practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture expected by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production.
• Support land planning, urban design, redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, and public infrastructure design.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions of the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
• Learn one or more software programs: Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.
