Job summary

McGill Associates is seeking a seasoned Landscape Architect to lead design and project management for community, parks, and streetscapes. You will mentor staff, contribute to proposals, and help grow client relationships.

Required are a Bachelor's or Master's in landscape architecture, 5–8 years of professional experience, and licensure as a Landscape Architect. Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills, plus proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Design Suite, and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university or college.
• 5–8 years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect including planning and design of communities, parks, streetscapes, and similar project types.
• Registration as a Landscape Architect is required.
• Ability to lead presentations in public and private settings; design review process experience is highly desired.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Design Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Some travel may be required for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and contributor.
• Mentoring and technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff.
• Business development activities including networking, proposal prep, interviews, and fee negotiations.
• Preparation and review of deliverables such as reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans, and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned and participation on committees or teams.
• Travel may be planned or on an urgent basis to meet deadlines.
