HNTB is seeking a highly motivated planning and design professional to join our growing Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, and Planning practice within the New York Planning and Environment Group. The role will initially focus on field work and construction-phase support, including observing the execution of park and public space designs, reviewing plans and shop drawing submittals, supporting plant and materials selections, and contributing to construction oversight. The role may also support the planning and design of streetscapes, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, greenways, transit station areas, urban and land-use plans, wetland mitigation, and landscape restoration efforts for major infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be interested in working outdoors in the field alongside contractors and clients and should enjoy working in a dynamic, multi-discipline environment.

The approximate pay range for New York is $93,022.31 - $139,533.46. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
