Job summary

The Squam Lakes Conservation Society (SLCS) seeks a Lands Coordinator to drive hands-on land protection work in the Squam Lake region. You will research potential conservation projects, create maps and baseline documentation, and coordinate stewardship for lands SLCS has committed to protect.

You will work closely with the Land Protection Director, coordinate SLCS’s robust volunteer monitoring program, and help translate a 65-year legacy into practical on-the-ground actions that safeguard this

The Squam Lakes Conservation Society (SLCS) is entering an exciting new chapter in more than 65 years of land conservation at Squam. With more than 10,000 acres already conserved, SLCS is building on a remarkable legacy while looking boldly toward what comes next: protecting the lands that matter most, expanding how we care for conserved properties, and creating more opportunities for people to take part in stewardship of this extraordinary place.

Position Summary
