Job Description

Purple Land Management (PLM) is seeking an experienced Title Landman or Division Order Analyst for a project-based, contract role. The ideal candidate will have strong title analysis skills, experience calculating ownership interests, and a meticulous approach to reviewing and confirming division orders.


Responsibilities
  • Review and audit division orders and related title documents to ensure accuracy and completeness across multiple geographic areas.
  • Confirm and calculate mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, and working interests.
  • Identify discrepancies in ownership and title documentation and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally to internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain organized, thorough documentation of ownership verification and audit results.
  • Work independently while following established processes and quality standards.
Mandatory Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Landman, Division Order Analyst, or similar title role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of mineral and leasehold ownership, division order principles, and title examination.
  • Proficiency with title runsheets, mineral ownership reports, and division order preparation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, title opinions, and conveyance documents.
