Position Summary & Responsibilities

DGOC seeks a Landman to support its Central Division operations. The role reports to the Director of Land and involves addressing issues related to land, operations, permitting, and accounting, serving as an initial contact for Lessors and property owners. Responsibilities include evaluating and negotiating well acquisitions/divestitures, addressing operational hurdles, managing documentation and ownership issues, supporting due diligence, and coordinating with various teams. The candidate should have experience with leases, rights-of-way, oil & gas agreements, and title research. Managing land contractors and negotiating agreements are also key aspects of the role.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Oil & Gas Land field experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF, GIS, and industry software
• Membership in MLBC or AAPL preferred
