Job summary

DAS Aviation is seeking a Landing Gear Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and test landing gear components across various aircraft models. You will work in a fast-paced shop, upholding safety and accuracy while documenting all repairs per FAA guidelines.

The role prioritizes hands-on mechanical work, teamwork, and adherence to procedures, with opportunities to learn new overhaul methods and grow within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records of repairs per FAA guidelines.
• Experience in landing gear overhaul/repair is preferred but not required.
• A&P license is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhauls and/or repairs on landing gear systems.
• Troubleshoot and inspect landing gear components.
• Learn and apply new overhaul/repair procedures.
• Work as part of a team or independently as project demands.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Follow all safety and company policies.
