Cobb County Government is seeking a maintenance supervisor to lead crews in operating equipment and performing repair work on roadways and related infrastructure. The role coordinates tasks, prioritizes projects, assigns work, and ensures safety at work sites while monitoring traffic and safety zones.

The position requires a CDL Class A, and candidates should have strong experience in construction/maintenance with leadership capabilities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred; three years of construction, repair, or maintenance of public infrastructure.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class A endorsements required.
• Ability to exert heavy physical effort and work in varying weather conditions.
• Experience leading a crew and coordinating safety at work sites.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise crews operating equipment on roadways and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate daily tasks, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure safety zones.
• Inspect equipment, perform minor repairs, and report faulty gear.
• Maintain and repair drains, pavement, signage, and road markings per standards.
• Communicate with supervisors and departments to align work orders.
