Job summary

SECURE is hiring a Landfill Operator in Williston, ND to support all day-to-day landfill operations, including scale operation and heavy equipment use. You will interact with customers, maintain safety, and ensure accurate data entry, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts 7 on/7 off.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced environment. Prior equipment experience and current safety tickets are required, with opportunities for growth in a growing, Canada/US-wide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with equipment and computer systems.
• Valid safety tickets (H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, WHMIS, TDG) required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days on/off.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment and site machinery on scale operations.
• Perform landfill and site maintenance to support safe daily operations.
• Gather samples and perform required testing and analysis.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Support ongoing landfill and building maintenance as required.
