WM (Waste Management) seeks an on-site landfill laborer to perform a variety of tasks at the site, including waste containment, traffic direction at peak times, and manual sorting of materials. The role involves operating a vacuum tractor and manual handling of trash and debris.

The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a pay range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. WM emphasizes safety, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Licenses as required by Local, State, Federal, Environmental and/or Health/Safety Regulatory agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Manually picks up windblown paper from periphery of landfill and directs traffic at the landfill entrance when busy.
• Operates a mobile vacuum to gather loose paper and debris, driving a tractor as needed along the landfill border.
• Lifts construction materials for site maintenance and uses hand tools such as shovels, picks, axes and chainsaws.
• Manually separates metal, white goods, lumber and cardboard from trash on tipping floor at landfills with transfer station.
