Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at a hauling/transfer site. You will help with yard work, fueling vehicles, operating light equipment, and basic maintenance. The role requires reliability and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm, with occasional weekend work. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement plan with company match, PTO, and other benefits.

• Fuel vehicles and equipment
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment
• Perform yard work including mowing and paper pick up
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
• Install temporary wind fences as required
• Direct traffic at the site
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY: A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center or landfill. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.
