Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Laborer to perform general labor duties at a hauling facility, transfer station, recycling center or landfill. You will contribute to safe, efficient site operations and assist with yard work, fueling, and vehicle/equipment readiness.

The role supports a range of tasks from cleaning and basic maintenance to directing traffic on-site, under supervision. A safety-minded, team-oriented approach is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas and perform yard work.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment (water trucks, pickups, sweepers, mowers).
• Perform site maintenance including painting and janitorial tasks.

POSITION SUMMARY: A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center or landfill. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.
