Athens Services is hiring a General Laborer to support maintenance of landfill/transfer station properties and entrance roads in Redlands, CA. You will perform cleaning, installation of drainage structures, and traffic direction while enforcing safety protocols.

The role involves working in diverse conditions, operating hand tools, and coordinating with customers and equipment operators. A strong safety focus and reliable overtime availability are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working as a general laborer and/or construction environment.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to construction operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to observe proper safety precautions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid C Class Driver License.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landfill/transfer station property and drainage channels clean of debris.
• Direct traffic and enforce safety procedures.
• Install drainage structures.
• Operate hand tools and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Communicate traffic regulations to customers and supervisors.
