Job summary

Waste Pro of Florida in Sanford, Florida is seeking an Equipment Operator - Class A Driver to oversee the inspection and management of waste on site. You will operate heavy equipment, including a front-end loader, and ensure safe, efficient waste placement.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, 2 years of heavy equipment experience, and a preference for a 24-hour Landfill Operators License. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• 24 hour Landfill Operators License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment.
• Understand refuse disposal policies, procedures, guidelines and practices.
• Manipulate heavy equipment control levers safely.
• Follow oral and written instructions and maintain records.
