The role requires reading and following written instructions, keeping accurate records, and complying with training and safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• 24 hour Landfill Operators License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader and other heavy equipment.
• Understand refuse disposal policies and practices.
• Manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
• Follow oral and written instructions and maintain records.
• Attend and participate in required training courses.
