Waste Pro of Georgia - Cherokee_Ball Ground-BALL

Experience preferred, but not required. The Landfill Equipment Operator is responsible for inspecting incoming waste, managing waste placement on the site, and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
2. Understand refuse disposal policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.
3. Manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
4. Follow oral and written instructions.
5. Maintain written records.
6. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
7. See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
8. Exhibit normal body motion.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license for the state of employment with a clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• 24-hour Landfill Operators License preferred.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Other Job Responsibilities:

• Attend and participate in company-sponsored training courses.
• Stay updated on current technology used by Waste Pro USA.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

No CDL required.
