Job summary

The Mannik & Smith Group (MSG) is seeking a Landfill Engineer to join our Maumee, OH team. This entry-level position offers hands-on exposure to solid waste design and permitting, with training to speak fluently on landfill gas management and Ohio rules.

You'll participate in the Blueprint early career leadership program for engineers, gain project experience across Ohio, and progressively take on field oversight and design work as you grow your technical specialty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; geotechnical coursework valued.
• Strong organization and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Curiosity and motivation to grow into a technical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Support landfill design and permitting, learning fundamentals.
• Contribute to solid waste construction oversight in the field.
• Take on project assignments across Ohio with occasional out-of-state opportunities.
