Job summary

Jobot, a prominent Florida law firm, seeks a licensed Land Use Attorney to join our real estate and development practice. You will advise on zoning, permitting, and development matters, collaborating with property owners, developers, and public agencies across Florida.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, Florida Bar admission, and proven land use or real estate experience, with strong research, negotiation, and communication skills to manage multiple projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • Proven work experience as a Land Use Attorney, Real Estate Attorney, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of zoning ordinances, land development codes, environmental mandates, and real estate transactions.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with local elected officials and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Prepare and file necessary documents such as applications, permits, and appeals.

  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and other professionals in the development process.
  • Stay updated with changes in land use laws and regulations.

Job Details

We are a leading Florida-based business law firm, seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and licensed Land Use Attorney to join our legal team.
