AE2S seeks a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) or Land Surveyor Technician to join our Land Survey team in Bismarck, ND or Minot, ND. You will precisely calculate field data while developing skills to organize and direct survey crews.

Early on you will work with a crew, progressing toward independent crew chief responsibilities on internal projects and client work. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Basic knowledge of survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and Automatic level.
• Knowledgeable in the effective practices, methods, and techniques of land surveying.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Conduct field surveys for boundaries, topography, GIS data collection, geodetic control, etc.
• Provide construction staking for site layout, structures, grading, paving, roadways, drainage features, etc.
• Prepare plats, maps, and record drawings
• Accurately assemble and record field data, perform survey calculations, and prepare legal descriptions
• Develop the ability to organize, manage, and direct field survey crews, progressing toward independent crew chief responsibilities
