Job Overview

As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and measurements for construction, land development, and other projects. You will use specialized equipment and technology to gather data and create detailed reports for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques as well as excellent problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS receivers and total stations
  • Create detailed maps and measurements using survey data
  • Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and other professionals to ensure accurate project planning
  • Follow safety protocols while working on job sites
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements in technology, techniques and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field
  • Valid state license or certification in land surveying
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
  • Proficiency in using specialized surveying equipment and software
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculating distances, angles, areas, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Salary

Salary for this position starts at $1400 per month. The final salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Location
