Job summary

A surveying and engineering firm located in New York is seeking a qualified candidate to perform various surveying tasks including boundary, GPS, and Topographic Surveying. This role requires a degree in Land Surveying, a minimum of 4 years of experience, and proficiency in AUTOCAD. The ideal candidate will supervise survey works and ensure accurate data verification to support project coordination and execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 year’s of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Places survey markers to establish control point and work boundaries.
  • Creates proper drawings on completed survey points installed on site.

• Accountable for setting out survey points and levels on site, involves above ground monitoring

• Verifies the accuracy of survey data including carrying out relevant site measurements for computation of interim and final quantities of work done.

• Responsible for the coordination of the whole project as per site progress schedule

• Able to use total station survey instrument of GPS system

• Places survey markers to establish control point and work boundaries

• Creates proper drawings on completed survey points installed on site

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Requirements:

• Degree in Land Surveying, Geology, Civil and Structural Engineering

• Minimum 4 year’s of working experience in the related field is required
