Job summary

Design Tree Engineering is seeking a Survey Project Manager to join the Minneapolis, MN office and lead the land survey team. The role focuses on directing survey planning, project administration, and client interactions while growing with the organization.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years’ experience as a licensed Land Surveyor in MN or WI, strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, and the ability to travel. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Land Surveyor in MN or WI.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Proficient with Robotic Total Stations and GPS.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate survey planning, schedules, processing and project administration.
• Prepare proposals.
• Record research, preparation of surveys, legal descriptions, plan interpretation and construction staking computations.
• Train staff in equipment and field techniques.

• Licensed Land Surveyor in the State of Minnesota or Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Working knowledge of field survey equipment including Robotic Total Stations and GPS.
• Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel out of town.
• Knowledge of topographic, construction, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

Salary Information:

• $90,000-$130,000 based on qualifications.
