Design Tree Engineering is seeking a Survey Project Manager to join the Minneapolis, MN office and lead our growing Land Survey Team. Ideal candidates are driven and eager to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed Land Surveyor in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Strong knowledge of field survey equipment incl. Robotic Total Stations and GPS.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel out of town.
• Knowledge of topographic, construction, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate survey planning, schedules, processing and project administration.
• Preparation of proposals.
• Record research, preparation of surveys, legal descriptions, plan interpretation and construction staking computations.
• Train staff in the proper use of equipment and field techniques.
• Provide client/contractor interaction in a positive, professional manner.
• Work as part of a team to deliver successful projects.
• Effective communicator.
