Job summary

Corré, Inc. is seeking a Land Surveyor to join our transportation department, performing field and office survey tasks using Trimble SX10/SX12 and GNSS tools.

You will process data, create deliverables, and collaborate with teams across multiple offices on WisDOT and local government projects. The role requires an Associates degree in surveying or related field, strong math and communication skills, and a valid US driver's license with willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

Job description

We're looking for a Land Surveyor to join our transportation department. This is a great opportunity to work on transportation-focused survey projects with the latest Trimble equipment.

Description

• Perform both field (one-person crew) and office survey tasks
• Use Trimble SX10/SX12 total stations, R980/R12i GNSS, and TSC5/TSC7 data collectors
• Process data, create deliverables, and collaborate with teams across multiple offices
• Support transportation projects for WisDOT and local governments

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Land Surveying or a related field
• Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Computer literacy, including use of relevant communication software
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Valid driver's license, ability to travel, including overnight, if needed
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

Preferred

• Professional Land Surveying (PLS) License or ability to obtain in the future
• Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level 1 or higher
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
• Trimble Business Center experience
• Understanding of the WisDOT transportation design process
• Experience with WisDOT fieldwork and deliverable creation

Physical Requirements

• Walking five (5) miles or more in a day on a construction project site on uneven terrain
• Excessive standing
• Lifting, or carrying, of a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling equipment
• Use of a computer, keyboard, mouse

Working Conditions

• On project sites, in field offices, or in company office
• Frequently outdoors, year-round in various weather conditions
• Travel throughout Wisconsin Southeast region
• Occasional travel with overnight stays
