Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience as a Land Surveyor is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with GPS/EDM and surveying instruments.
• Strong mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Job description

As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting field surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries and locations You will work on a variety of projects including land development construction and infrastructure This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Use surveying instruments and equipment to measure distances angles elevations and other land features
• Research legal records survey records and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries
• Analyze data collected through surveys to create maps plats and reports
• Communicate with clients engineers architects and other professionals involved in the project
• Ensure accuracy of survey data by conducting quality checks and verifying measurements
• Perform calculations using geometry and trigonometry to determine property boundaries
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field
• Keep accurate records of all surveying activities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Surveying or related field preferred
• Previous experience as a Land Surveyor is a plus but not required
• Proficient in using surveying instruments such as GPS receivers electronic distance-measuring equipment etc
• Strong mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary $1100 per month negotiable based on experience

Location Los Angeles open to all nationalities

Working Hours Full-time 40 hours per week
